As a provider of critical eye health products, Lunovus is an essential business and was able to continue working around the clock. Not only did we never slow down our warehouse operations and practice success team, but we made sure necessary health and safety precautions were in place in our facilities and ramped up operations to help doctors during these challenging days and weeks.
COVID-19’S IMPACT ON ONLINE RETAIL
The pandemic has driven changes in the way we all use online ordering, and an increase in sales volume for online retail businesses. Consequently, ECPs who weren’t making products available to patients online struggled mightily, and patients couldn’t get the help they needed.
We saw that eye doctors needed a solution to continue to drive revenue even while their practices were closed, because patients still needed their doctor-recommended eye health products.

In order to help ECPs make their patients aware about the new options they have to order the products they needed online or over the phone, we also provide doctors with a custom email template that they can easily distribute. When doctors who weren’t currently using Doc2Home in their practices reached out for help, we deployed our practice success team to make sure that implementation could be as quick and smooth as possible so that patients could begin to benefit from a new ordering system as soon as the patient-facing emails were sent.
As a result, ECPs around the country could present patients with an option to order the products they’d recommended right to their door. We even waived shipping costs to eliminate barriers to ordering.
A LOOK TOWARD THE FUTURE WITH DOC2HOME FROM LUNOVUS
